"Luxor es el destino turístico número uno en el Alto Egipto y el valle del Nilo; es la capital dinástica y religiosa del Imperio Medio y el Imperio Nuevo de Egipto. El Valle de los Reyes es el atractivo principal de los turistas que visitan Luxor; es un enorme lugar lleno de varias tumbas de diferentes tamaños, que generosamente se construyeron para los poderosos faraones, reinas y nobles. La tumba del Rey Tutankamón fue encontrada aquí en la década de 1920.
