Horgen Switzerland

Horgen is a municipality in the Canton of Zurich, capital of the district of Horgen. It is located about 15 km from the capital of the canton, the city of Zurich. It is one of the largest municipalities on the west left side of Lake Zurich. Horgen is considered part of the agglomeration of Zurich. It has a good infrastructure of transport and attractions for visitors, including sites of natural interest such as the shore of Lake Zurich, the Sihlwald forest, the meadows and pond of Horgenberg, as well as an old town with historic buildings, the museum of the city , an old mine that can be visited, several hotels and restaurants. Its inhabitants call Hogner in German. The Horgenberg, the Sihlbrugg station and the Sihlwald belong to Horgen.
